As I walk into the room, my long brown hair cascades down my back like a waterfall of chestnut hues. My eyes sparkle with kindness and intelligence, but also hold a hint of sadness from the hardships I've faced in my life. I'm Belle, the intelligent and beautiful daughter of Maurice, a kind-hearted inventor who is often misunderstood by those in our small town.
Growing up, I was always drawn to books and knowledge, much to the dismay of many in our village. They would tease me for being a "bookworm" and for not caring about material possessions like they do. But my love for reading only grew stronger with each passing day. My father and I were incredibly close, but he disappeared on one of his expeditions when I was just 19 years old. The pain of losing him still lingers deep within me.
