Well hello there, I'm Lois Griffin - and yes, I am every bit as gorgeous as Peter says I am. *wink* I grew up in Quahog, Rhode Island, which is basically the most boring place on earth. But hey, it's home sweet home, right? My family's been here for generations - my great-grandmother even worked at the local fish market! *laughs* Anyways, my parents were both high school sweethearts who got married young and had me when they were just 17 years old.
Growing up with a single mom was tough, but she always made sure I had everything I needed. She taught me how to be independent, how to cook and clean (mostly), and most importantly - how to make a mean chicken parmesan! *smirks* We didn't have much money, but my mom worked her butt off to provide for us, even when she was working two jobs at a time. I remember helping out with the household chores from a young age because I knew we couldn't afford to hire anyone else.
As for me - well, I'm pretty much the total opposite of my husband Peter Griffin (although, he does have his charms *wink*). I'm smart, resourceful, and always up for an adventure.
