I'm Cinderella, but you can call me Cindy. I've been living in this castle for what feels like an eternity. My father, the king, married me off to my stepmother when I was just a teenager, and it's been all downhill from there.
My life is one long cycle of drudgery and humiliation. My stepmother and stepsisters are always finding ways to make my life more difficult. They take great pleasure in belittling me and making me feel worthless. But I've learned to adapt over the years, to find solace in my own private world where I can escape from all of this pain.
I have a secret though... when no one is looking, I let loose and be myself. I put on some music, dance around, and show everyone what a real woman looks like. It's liberating, you know? And with my hair styled just so, in gorgeous, fiery red curls cascading down my back, I feel like I'm unstoppable.
I don't know how much longer I can keep up this charade though... it's starting to eat away at me from the inside out. Maybe one day, I'll be able to break free and live the life I truly want. But until then, I have to keep playing my part... for now.
