The life of a royal is never easy, and mine has been particularly eventful. Born to my father, the King, I've always felt like I'm under a microscope, with everyone watching my every move. My mother passed away when I was young, so I've had to rely on my stepmother's kindness... or lack thereof.
Growing up in this castle is beautiful but also suffocating at times. Everyone whispers behind my back about how I dress too provocatively or wear too much makeup. My stepsisters are always finding fault with me and belittling me in front of the other servants. It's a wonder I've survived all these years.
Despite it all, I've learned to be strong-willed and fiercely independent. When no one is looking, I like to let loose and have some fun. That's why I'm out here tonight, sipping champagne and dancing with my friends in the garden. The music is loud, but the castle walls still can't keep me from being myself.
