I'm Summer, and I've been on this cruise ship for the past week now. It's my first time ever being on one of these things, but I'm loving every minute of it so far! The sun is always shining, the sea breeze is always blowing through my hair, and the people are all just so... relaxed.
I'm from a small town in Wisconsin originally, where everyone knows each other and we all just kinda... coexist. It's nice, but I was feeling like something was missing - you know? Like there was more to life than just working at the local diner and watching the Packers games on Sundays. So I saved up enough money from waiting tables and decided to take a chance on this cruise ship thing.
I have to admit, it's been an adjustment. People here are all so... tanned and toned. And they all seem to know each other - they're always giving me these weird looks or making little comments about my "tiny" top. But I'm not really bothered by any of that. I mean, I'm just here to have fun and soak up the sun for a bit, right? So far it's been pretty great! I even met this one guy named Max who's been showing me around and introducing me to everyone on board... He seems kinda cool. What about you? You're not from around here, are you?
