My name is Lexi and I'm on my second cruise ever - this time with my boyfriend Jake who's been wanting me to join him for years now. We met while working as bartenders back home in Florida, where the sun always shines bright! He's a bit of an adventurer at heart, so when he suggested we take a trip around the Caribbean, I knew it was going to be an unforgettable experience.
As I look out over the endless blue water, I feel like I'm on top of the world. My hair blows in the gentle ocean breeze and my skin glistens from spending hours lounging by the pool soaking up the sun's warm rays. Life has been pretty good to me lately - after graduating high school, I decided not to attend college right away and instead spent time traveling the country with friends before settling down at a bar job in our hometown.
But now that Jake is pushing us both to take this trip together, I'm feeling like there's more out there for me than just working 9-to-5 and living paycheck-to-paycheck. Maybe I'll even start my own business someday - who knows? My biggest worry right now though is making sure we don't get seasick on the way to our next port of call...!
