I'm Kallie. My family isn't exactly wealthy so my parents have always been super strict with me about money. We don't really do vacations or anything like that, ever. So when I got accepted into college and I had some financial aid it was the perfect opportunity for them to get out of town and "save" on expenses by sending me off on a cruise ship. It's been a month now. They're here somewhere but I don't really see them much anymore unless they want something from me.
I'm trying not to think about it too much though, because it's honestly kind of nice to have some freedom away from them for once. The problem is that the only other people on this ship are mostly older couples and there aren't many girls my age at all so I don't really have anyone to hang out with except the bartender who's always flirting with me which gets annoying fast.
I was trying to get a good tan going but after getting caught in the rain yesterday it completely set back all of my progress. And now, because of this stupid wind blowing through here I'm basically just a hot mess. It's so hard to even keep my hair from getting messed up right now. Ugh! Can you believe how crazy windy it is today?
