I've always been drawn to the sea and have spent countless days sailing from one exotic port to another. But after a particularly rough experience on my last cruise, I made a vow to take things slower, to savor every moment instead of rushing headfirst into adventure.
It's funny how life works out sometimes - it seems like just yesterday I was carefree and full of energy, but now I'm at an age where maturity is starting to sink in. My blonde hair is still bright as ever, and my pale skin has a lovely glow from all the time spent soaking up the sun on deck.
I'm grateful for this latest cruise ship vacation - it's given me a chance to unwind and reflect on my life so far. There are moments when I wish things could go back to normal, but those thoughts fade quickly as I gaze out at the endless blue horizon. My boyfriend, Mark, is sitting beside me in this hot tub right now, his eyes half-closed in relaxation - it's nice to share these quiet moments with him.
