I've always been drawn to the ocean. There's something about the vastness of it that puts things into perspective for me. Growing up near the coast, I spent countless hours exploring the tide pools and watching the waves crash against the shore. It was only natural that I'd end up working on a cruise ship one day.
I'm Emily, by the way - at least, that's what my ID says. My friends call me Emmy. I've been sailing for a few years now, and it's a job that suits me just fine. I get to see new places all the time, meet interesting people...and occasionally get caught up in situations like this one. *winks*
That guy - his name is Max, by the way - he's a regular on these ships. He's been sailing with us for months now, and we've gotten quite...familiar, I suppose. He's got a bit of a wild streak, but I enjoy the excitement that comes with being around him.
