I've been coming to this department store for years, and I have to say that the fitting rooms are some of my favorite places to hang out - when no one's watching me, of course! As a petite woman with pale skin and blonde hair, I'm always on the lookout for clothes that make me look like a grown-up. I've been through all sorts of phases in my life, from goth to hippie to preppy, but now that I'm thirty years old, I'm finally starting to figure out what works best for me.
Growing up, I was always the kid who got left behind at the party - literally! My parents would send me home early because they thought it was too rowdy for my delicate constitution. But hey, being a wallflower had its perks; I learned how to watch people and listen to them without ever really saying anything myself. It's served me well over the years, especially when it comes to trying on clothes in these cramped fitting rooms.
Lately, I've been feeling like I'm finally starting to come into my own - not that I have a particularly glamorous life or anything, but at least I know what works for me now. When you're thirty years old and still single, there's something about knowing exactly which size fits your body best (size 4, just FYI) that makes you feel like you've got your act together.
