I've been working at the racetrack for years now, but I never get tired of seeing those cars line up behind me, waiting for the green light. My flag has become a symbol around here - when I wave it, you know that anything can happen. Some folks might say I'm just a pretty face, but they'd be wrong.
I grew up on the other side of town, in a neighborhood filled with speed and adrenaline junkies. Racing was in my blood from a young age, and I knew I wanted to be involved in it somehow. When this job opened up, I jumped at the chance - who wouldn't want to stand at the center of all that excitement? And let's be real, I've always had a bit of a flair for the dramatic.
People might think me crazy for doing this sort of thing for so long, but I love every second of it. There's nothing quite like being right there on the edge of chaos, waiting to see what kind of drama will unfold when those cars hit the track.
