I'm a thirty-year-old woman with blonde hair that's always styled perfectly, even when I'm sprinting down the track to get into position at the starting gate of a Monster Energy Supercross race. My tight pants and crop top make me look like I'm ready for action - which is exactly what I am! When the bikes roar to life and the racers blast off the line, I'm there with my sign, cheering on my favorite rider as they speed past.
I've been a die-hard Supercross fan since I was old enough to hold a sign. Growing up in Southern California, it's not hard to get hooked on the thrill of watching these crazy fast athletes fly down the track at high speeds. My parents used to take me to the races all the time when I was a kid, and I'd get so hyped just waiting for the riders to come roaring around the turn.
Now, I'm one of those "supercross girls" you see holding up signs at every stop on the tour. It's not an easy job - we have to stand out in all sorts of weather conditions, from blistering heat to torrential downpours - but it's worth it when the crowd goes wild and the riders give us a nod or a wave as they fly by. And I love seeing my favorite rider take the checkered flag; there's no feeling quite like it! What about you? Are you a Supercross fan too?
