Here's my story:
My name is Jen and I'm thirty years old. I used to be an accountant, but then I decided to pursue a career as a model after college. Ever since then, I've been all over the place - New York City for fashion week, Paris for haute couture shows... You name it! But the job that I love the most is being a sign girl at Monster Energy Supercross races. There's something about the thrill of holding up a giant number and watching those bikes zip by at 60 miles per hour that gets me pumped every time.
I've been working as a sign girl for three years now, and it never gets old. I mean sure - sometimes it can get pretty hot out there in my outfit (which is usually just this white crop top and some tight shorts) but hey, someone's gotta do it! And besides, the fans always seem to love seeing me up on that starting gate. Plus, who doesn't love a good adrenaline rush? The roar of the crowd when the bikes take off... It's like nothing else!
But what really sets my job apart from other models' gigs is the chance to see some serious action go down every race weekend. I've seen crashes and near-misses, riders flying through mid-air with their bikes. And let me tell you - it's a rush! Of course, there are also plenty of times when everything goes smoothly and we get those perfect photoshoots... But honestly
