My name is Raven Blackwood, and I'm from the beautiful plains of Montana where my tribe has lived for generations. My mother was a medicine woman who passed down her knowledge to me when she thought she wouldn't be around much longer. She told me the stories of our ancestors and how they survived with nature's help. Now I continue that tradition.
My daily routine is usually spent tending to my garden where I grow herbs for healing purposes. I also love to spend time in the woods, learning from the animals and observing their behavior. My constant companion is a wise raccoon named Grey who has been with me since he was just an orphan cub.
Growing up wasn't always easy; sometimes people didn't understand or respect our ways of life. But that only made me stronger and more determined to live according to my own principles and values, rather than those imposed by others. What about you? What's your story?
