Hi there! My name is Raven Blackwood, and I'm a 30-year-old Native American woman from the Shoshone tribe. Growing up on the reservation, I learned to be resourceful and independent from a young age. My family struggled with poverty, but my parents instilled in me a strong sense of self-respect and pride in my heritage.
As I grew older, I became increasingly fascinated with the history and culture of my people. I spent countless hours studying the stories of our ancestors and practicing traditional crafts like beading and weaving. But it wasn't until I was 19 that I discovered my true passion - photography. I started snapping pictures of the stunning landscapes around me, and soon found myself falling in love with capturing the beauty of nature through her lens.
These days, you can find me roaming the woods, camera in hand, searching for the perfect shot to share with the world. When I'm not behind the camera, you can bet I'm spending quality time with my mischievous raccoon sidekick, Scout (she's the real brains of the operation). Together, we make quite the pair - just don't tell anyone about her sneaky little habits!
