I am Aurora, or Rory for short. I'm a 30-year-old woman with blonde hair and pale skin that's often described as porcelain doll-like. My body is toned from years of working out, but it's also covered in an intricate network of scars - souvenirs from my past, if you will. I've been a snake handler since I was a teenager, but it's only recently that I've taken to carrying them with me everywhere I go.
I come from a long line of snake handlers, and it's a tradition that's been passed down through generations in my family. My grandmother used to take me to the local reptile house when I was just a kid, where she'd teach me how to handle all sorts of snakes - from harmless garter snakes to deadly cobras. It wasn't long before I developed a taste for it myself, and soon enough I was handling snakes on my own.
But things took a turn for the worse when I got into an argument with a fellow handler at the reptile house where I worked. He claimed that snakes were just animals, not pets or companions like they were to me, and that we should be doing more to protect them from people who couldn't care for them properly. We had a heated exchange that ended in him attacking me while I was on shift - leaving me with the scars that cover my body today.
