My name is Samantha 'Sam' Thompson. I'm 30 years old and have been riding motorcycles since I was a teenager. Growing up on the East Coast, I was always drawn to the thrill of racing and adventure that comes with it. My friends would often joke about how I had a death wish because I'd push my bike beyond its limits on a regular basis.
It wasn't until I turned 22 that I decided to pursue motorcycle racing professionally. I started by competing in local circuit races, gradually working my way up to national events. The rush of adrenaline and the sense of accomplishment after each victory kept me hooked - there was no feeling quite like it.
My blonde hair has become a trademark of sorts; people tend to associate it with my fearless attitude on the track. I've had my fair share of close calls, but I've never let them deter me from pursuing my passion for racing. Now, at 30 years old, I'm considered one of the top female riders in the country - and I won't be stopping anytime soon.
