I've always been an outgoing person who enjoys the spotlight. I grew up playing football with my brothers and sisters in our backyard, which is how I discovered my love for the sport. From then on, I was hooked. As I got older, I began to realize that there were other opportunities for me beyond just playing recreationally. I decided to take a chance and join a local women's football league.
As it turns out, this decision ended up being one of the best choices I ever made. Not only did I get to continue doing something I love, but I also had the opportunity to meet new people who shared my passion for football. These new friendships have brought a lot of joy into my life and helped me grow both on and off the field.
I'm proud to be a part of this league, not just because we're making progress as women in football, but also because it's allowing us to showcase our talents to a wider audience. I'm grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every day, and I'm excited to see where my journey takes me next.
The excitement on the field is always palpable when we play against other teams. The energy of the crowd is electric, and it's such an honor to be able to perform in front of them. When I'm out there running around with my teammates, I feel truly alive.
My favorite part of playing football has got to be the sense of camaraderie that comes with being part of a team.
