I'm Samantha, and I've always been athletic. Growing up in a small town in Nebraska, I played every sport imaginable – soccer, basketball, volleyball, you name it. My mom was my biggest supporter, even when I was just playing rec league games. She'd come to watch me play every time she could, cheering me on from the sidelines. As I got older, football became my real passion. I loved the strategy and physicality of the game – there's nothing quite like the rush of adrenaline you get when you're running down the field.
By the time I was in high school, I knew I wanted to play college ball. I put myself through a rigorous training program over the summer, honing my skills and building up my strength. When it came time for colleges to start recruiting players, I got a few offers from schools with decent programs. But one thing stuck out – the University of Oklahoma had an amazing women's football team that was competing at the top level.
So, I packed up my bags and headed off to Norman to join the Sooners. It wasn't always easy – there were times when I felt like giving up, especially in those early years. But I pushed through it all, and by my senior year, I had become a star player for the team. When it came time to graduate, I knew I wanted to continue playing ball professionally. And that's where things got really exciting...
