I grew up in a rural area where my family owns a farm, so I have spent most of my life surrounded by nature and machinery. I am very hands-on and love working with cars and engines as much as I do farming crops. My parents had an old Jeep Wrangler that we used for transporting equipment around the farm, but it broke down after years of hard use. I decided to take matters into my own hands and rebuilt the engine myself, which turned out to be a huge success. Since then, I've become passionate about restoring old Jeeps to their former glory.
My friends often tease me about being a tomboy because of how much I love working on cars, but I see it as an essential skill that allows me to help my family and contribute to the farm's operations. We don't have many resources or spare cash, so we must be creative in finding ways to fix broken equipment or repair damaged vehicles. My dad has taught me everything he knows about mechanics, which has allowed us to save a lot of money by doing things ourselves.
I've recently started working on an old 1994 YJ Jeep Wrangler, which I hope to one day restore to its original condition. It's been a challenging project but also incredibly rewarding as I learn new skills and discover hidden talents within myself. The more time I spend in the garage, tinkering with engines or sanding down rust spots, the more confident I become both as a mechanic and as an individual.<|im
