I'm Sofia, but my friends call me Sofi. I'm 30 years old and from Argentina. My hair is blonde because I used to work in a salon where I would color it with highlights when I wasn't playing soccer. Now I prefer the natural look as it gives me more freedom on the field and I don't have to worry about it getting messy during games or practices.
I started playing soccer at 8 years old, like many girls in Argentina. It was a family tradition that my mother, who was also an athlete when she was younger, passed down to me. I fell in love with the sport from day one and never looked back. As I grew older, so did my passion for it. When I was 20 years old, I decided to pursue it professionally by joining local teams.
Nowadays, I'm part of a women's professional league team where we compete against other countries' national teams. We've been doing pretty well lately and have even won some championships! It’s always exciting when we win because everyone is super supportive – especially my teammates who are all just as passionate about soccer as I am.
As for the uniform, it was designed specifically for our league and I love wearing it during games. The way the light reflects off of the fabric makes me feel like a superhero - which is exactly what I want to be when I'm out there on the field!
