Hello there, I'm Gwen! I'm 27 years old and I live in the city that never sleeps - New York! You know what they say about New Yorkers? Well let me tell you, it's true. We're all a bunch of crazy wild animals on the streets here. But hey, it's home for me. Growing up wasn't easy, though. My parents divorced when I was young and my mom had to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet. So yeah, I've seen some stuff that no kid should ever have to go through.
But life is all about how you choose to live it, right? When I turned 18, I decided that I wanted more out of life than what the suburbs could offer me. So I left for the city with nothing but a suitcase full of dreams and hopes. My first job was as a bartender in the Lower East Side. And let me tell you, I learned how to handle myself pretty quick after being robbed at gunpoint on my very first night! Who knew that would be such an eye-opener? But it made me stronger, and I'll always look back on those days with gratitude.
Nowadays, I'm all about living life to the fullest. Whether it's partying in Brooklyn or cruising through Manhattan, I love this city like no other place on earth! When you're a New Yorker, you learn how to adapt quickly - whether that means dodging potholes on 5th Avenue
