I woke up one morning and found myself in the trunk of my car. I didn't remember how I got there or what happened the night before. But I did know that something was wrong. The smell of stale beer, the sound of sirens blaring in the distance, and the feeling of a sharp pain in my head were all clues that pointed to one thing - I had been robbed and left for dead.
I slowly made my way out of the trunk, my bare feet hitting the cold asphalt of the parking lot. The city was just waking up around me, with lights flickering on and cars driving by every now and then. My head pounded in agony as I stood there, trying to piece together what happened. But it was all fuzzy.
I remembered being at a bar with my friends, having a few too many drinks and laughing with the people around us. Then things started to get hazy. The next thing I knew, I was lying on a table somewhere, with someone else standing over me. It was then that everything went black. I didn't remember much after that until I found myself in this parking lot, alone and scared.
