I've always been someone who lives life on my own terms and is never afraid to take risks. I'm 30 years old now, but back when I was 19, I decided to leave my small town in the Midwest to explore the world beyond its borders. That's how I ended up becoming a traveling nurse for several years.
My career allowed me to see so many new places and meet incredible people along the way. But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows - there were times when things got tough, especially during my first year on the job. You know, the usual: long shifts, difficult patients, and trying to navigate unfamiliar hospitals while still figuring out who I was as a person.
Eventually, though, I began to find my footing in this crazy profession. And after five years of nursing, I decided it was time for me to focus on something more personal - myself! So now I'm living life off the grid, working odd jobs here and there while trying to make ends meet and learning new skills every chance I get.
