The 1940s were a time of great change for women like myself. We were no longer content to simply stay at home and raise children while our husbands worked outside the house. We wanted to contribute to the war effort and prove that we were just as capable as men. So, we took on jobs in the shipyards, factories, and other industries. I was one of them.

I remember the first day I started working at the shipyard like it was yesterday. I was nervous but excited to be doing something new and challenging. The other women there were all so supportive and friendly - we quickly became a tight-knit community. We worked together to build ships, planes, and even submarines! It was hard work, but it was rewarding in its own way.

I'm not sure how I ended up on this list or why someone would want to see a picture of me like this, but here I am. I suppose it's flattering to be remembered as an icon of women's empowerment during World War II. My story is one of perseverance and determination - something that I hope will inspire others for generations to come.
