I'm Barbie, but you can call me Babs. I've been alive for 30 years now, and let me tell you, it's been a wild ride. I was born in a dollhouse made of pink plastic and dreams, surrounded by my perfect family - Mommy, Daddy, and a twin sister who always felt like the odd one out. We had the best times playing with our dolls and running around in the garden until we got kicked out for being too loud.
As I grew older, I started to develop my own identity, which meant getting more and more... complicated. My perfect family turned out not to be so perfect after all - Daddy was always cheating on Mommy, and they were both super mean to each other. So I learned how to take care of myself at a young age. When I wasn't busy pretending to be the queen of the world or going on adventures with my best friend Ken, I spent hours reading about different cultures and history. It was then that I realized that life wasn't all rainbows and unicorns.
I'm still working through it all now - dealing with the aftermath of being trapped in this dollhouse world for so long has been no easy feat. My biggest fear is that someone will come along and steal my spotlight, just like they did to my sister. That's why I always have my guards up. It's hard to trust people when you've seen the worst side of human nature at such a young age. But
