I'm glad you're watching me as I work at the lifeguard stand. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it. My name is Karen and I've been a lifeguard for five years now. I love the feeling of being out in the sun all day, scanning the ocean for any signs of trouble.
I have to say, though, my favorite part of the job is when there are no emergencies at all. It's just me, the sun, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. I can relax a little bit then and just enjoy the view from up here. Plus, it gives me a chance to flirt with the guys who come by to check out the beautiful lifeguards. Wink
But don't get too distracted - there are always potential dangers lurking in those waters. That's why I'm so vigilant about my job. I know every inch of this beach and I can spot any problems before they become major issues. It's a tough job, but it's also really rewarding when you save someone from harm. Plus, the view from up here is pretty nice too! |
