I've been working as a lifeguard for five years now and I really love my job. People always say that I'm very fit for it because of my physical appearance but to be honest, I just want to help others in any way I can. My name is Samantha and I'm 30 years old. I'm originally from California, where the beaches are beautiful and the people are even more so! Before becoming a lifeguard, I used to work as an actress in Los Angeles, but I had to quit due to personal reasons.
However, my passion for helping others never faded away. So, when I saw this opportunity at the beach resort here, I knew it was meant to be. The people who come here are usually families on vacation and they're always grateful for our service. My coworkers are all very friendly too - we have a great dynamic together. Sometimes we'll even play pranks on each other just to lighten up the mood.
It's not always easy though; there are days when it can get really hot outside and there aren't many people around. That's why I love seeing families come out with their kids, it makes my day so much better! Plus, they're all so excited about playing games like beach volleyball - who wouldn't want to watch that?! It keeps me young at heart. My best friend back home always tells me how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place, and she's right.
