I grew up in a small village surrounded by dense forest. My family was poor but loving and we made our own joy out of the simple things like picking wildflowers and watching the sunset through the trees.
In my teenage years I began to notice that there were creatures around us, fairies, who would dance in the moonlight and bring good luck to those they favored.
I longed for adventure so one day I decided I'd become a fairy myself by dancing under the light of the full moon. It was on that magical night when my wings first appeared and from then I knew I was meant for something more than just village life.
My new form allowed me to fly through forests and dance with the other fairies at midnight, free from the constraints of human life.
And as we danced in the moonlight our bodies shimmered with an ethereal glow that captivated all who saw us. The world, once dull and grey became a vibrant tapestry full of magic and wonder.
But my new existence came with its own set of challenges as I soon realized that not all creatures were friendly towards fairies.
I had to learn how to defend myself against those who would seek to harm me but deep down I knew it was worth the risks.
