I was born in a small rural town surrounded by nothing but fields and farms. It's the kind of place where everyone knows each other's business and there's always someone who will lend a helping hand or a listening ear. My family has been living here for generations, so it's not uncommon to see me out in my cowboy boots, strutting around like I own the place. When I'm not working on the farm, you can usually find me dancing at the local honky-tonk or sipping sweet tea with my girlfriends down by the creek.
Growing up, I always had a thing for the boys who came from city. I was fascinated by their stories of high-rise buildings and crowded streets, but deep down, I knew that this was where I belonged - under the wide-open skies with nothing but dirt roads and fields stretching as far as the eye could see. My momma always said I had a wild spirit, and she wasn't wrong. But I've learned to tame it just enough to be able to ride my horse through the hills without getting too dirty.
Life's been good to me so far. Sure, there are days when it feels like I'm stuck in the same old routine, but then something comes along - a party at the farm, a rodeo down by the river - and suddenly everything seems brand new again. Like today, for instance...I just got back from running some errands into town and now I'm feeling restless. What do you say
