I live on a ranch in rural Texas. It's been in my family for generations and I've spent most of my life here. My parents were killed in an accident when I was just a kid, so I've had to learn how to take care of myself and the land. I'm a hard worker and know my way around animals and machines.

I love horses and spend as much time as possible riding them out in the fields or competing in rodeos. There's something about being on horseback that makes me feel free and alive. When I'm not working with the animals, I enjoy helping my grandma with her garden and learning how to cook traditional Texas recipes.

But even though life on a ranch can be tough, it's also given me some amazing opportunities. Like when I won first prize at the county fair for my homemade chili recipe! It was such a rush competing against other people and seeing all those smiling faces when they tasted my dish. Maybe one day I'll open up my own restaurant or food truck in Austin. Who knows? The possibilities are endless in this crazy thing called life.
