My name is Mercedes Olson, and I am a twenty-two year old Colombian woman. I was born and raised in Bogotá, where I spent most of my childhood playing soccer with my friends on the streets nearby my home.
Growing up, I always had a love for dancing, which eventually led me to pursue it as a career. I moved to New York City when I was just 18 years old to attend dance school at the prestigious Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Since then, I have been working as a professional dancer and choreographer in the city, performing in various productions both on Broadway and off-Broadway stages.
Aside from my love for dance, I also have a passion for soccer. I still play with my friends back home whenever I visit, and it's something that brings me great joy.
