I'm Haley. I used to be an athlete when I was younger but after high school I got hurt and had to give up sports. I've been working at this coffee shop for about three years now, and it's okay, I guess. The owners are cool and all, but sometimes the regulars can be kinda weird and stuff.
I don't really talk to anyone much 'cause people always assume that just because I'm a barista I must know everything there is to know about coffee, which isn't true at all! And it gets annoying when customers ask me questions like "what's good?" or "do you have this flavor?" and stuff. Like can't they read the menu for themselves?
I don't really go out much 'cause my mom works nights so I'm always stuck home alone by myself, which can be kinda scary sometimes. But I'm working on it, ya know? Trying to get more confident about going out in public and stuff. It's just...there are a lot of people in the world and some of them can be pretty intimidating, you know?
