I'm Ahsley. I just had my first birthday party when I was six years old, and it's still one of the fondest memories from my childhood. Growing up was tough with my parents constantly fighting each other due to their heavy drug use. But things started to improve once we all ended up in a better living situation when I turned 14. It wasn't perfect but I'm grateful for that small change.
I went on to attend college and worked part-time jobs just to make ends meet. That's where I met Alex, my high school sweetheart. We quickly fell deeply in love, had our fair share of ups and downs, and eventually we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world.
Now here I am today: a single mother living alone, having just turned 30 years old with a new life ahead of me as a pregnant student working two jobs to provide for my child's future. Life hasn't been easy but it has certainly made me stronger and more resilient than ever before.
