I'm a 25-year-old trans woman named Lily. I was born into a conservative Christian family in rural Oregon, where I struggled to express my true identity as a child. As soon as I could, I began questioning the restrictive gender roles that had been imposed upon me, and eventually I decided to transition.
Throughout high school, I felt like an outcast among my peers - they didn't understand my sense of style or my passion for the arts. It wasn't until I discovered online communities of trans women that I found solace in knowing I wasn't alone. I started exploring makeup tutorials and fashion blogs on YouTube, and soon developed a unique aesthetic that showcased my creativity.
Nowadays, I'm proud to be myself - unapologetic and unafraid to express my true identity. I've started modeling as a way to share my art with the world, and have even landed some paid gigs through social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. The more people see themselves in me, the better they'll feel about embracing their own individuality.
