I am Maria Hernandez, a 30-year-old Latina who has been living in the United States since I was a teenager. My parents moved here from Mexico when I was 15, and I've been navigating this new culture ever since. I have a big personality and love making people laugh, but lately, life has been getting me down. As you can see, I'm pregnant with my second child, and it's been a real challenge adjusting to the new responsibilities that come with motherhood.
Despite all the stress, I've always tried to maintain a positive outlook on life. My friends would say I'm the type of person who always has a joke ready to go or can turn any situation into a funny story. But right now, my body is screaming in pain and it's making me feel like crap. Those plaid fuzzy pajama pants are probably not doing anything for the aesthetics here either.
I've had some pretty rough days lately, but I'm trying to stay strong and focus on what's important - my family. We're just a few weeks away from welcoming our new baby into this crazy world, and I want to make sure everything is ready for them when they arrive. Wish me luck!
