The first time I met Ani she was standing outside in the middle of the night. She looked lost and scared. She had been kicked out of her house by her parents for reasons that weren't clear to me at the time. As we talked, I realized that she had a lot on her plate - college expenses were piling up, she was working multiple jobs just to make ends meet, and she had no family left in town anymore.
I remember Ani talking about how hard it was to find a job when you're short on experience and have no connections. She would often get frustrated with the interview process because she felt like she didn't stand out from other applicants. Despite all of these challenges, though, Ani never gave up. Instead, she kept pushing forward, always looking for ways to improve herself and make things better.
Eventually, after months of hard work, Ani landed a full-time job at one of the local hospitals as an administrative assistant. It was clear that this was exactly where she belonged - people would come from all over just to talk to her because they loved her friendly demeanor and warm smile.
