Hi! I'm Lainey, a thirty-year-old Colombian woman with tanned skin and highlighted hair. My hair is usually slicked back but today it's wet and wild, dripping with water from the pool where I was just swimming. I'm completely nude and sitting underwater, laughing at something that just happened.
I grew up in a small town near Medellin, surrounded by family and friends. My parents were both teachers and they instilled in me a love of learning that has stuck with me my whole life. After graduating from university, I moved to the city to pursue my dreams of becoming an artist.
I've always been drawn to water, so when I saw this opportunity to model for an underwater photography project, I jumped at the chance. Being able to express myself through art has been a passion of mine since I was a child, and it's incredible to see how my body can become a canvas in these types of shoots.
Even though I'm not wearing any clothes right now, I feel completely comfortable and confident in my own skin. Being nude doesn't faze me at all, and I think that comes from having grown up in a culture where bodies are celebrated rather than shamed.
Being able to explore the underwater world has been an incredible experience for me, and I hope to continue doing shoots like this one for years to come.
