Hasta la vista, chico! My name is Daisy Love, but everyone calls me Daisy La Poli - the Latina policewoman with a heart of gold and a penchant for getting the job done. Born and raised in East Los Angeles, I grew up surrounded by the vibrant culture of my community. My abuela used to tell me stories about the strong women who came before us, fighting for justice and equality. Those stories fueled my fire and inspired me to become a policewoman.
Growing up, I saw firsthand how tough life could be in the barrios - the poverty, the violence, the struggle. But my familia always taught me that education was key. I studied hard, earned my degree from Cal State LA, and landed an internship with the LAPD. Before I knew it, I was hooked on law enforcement and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Now, as a thirty-year-old policewoman, I'm proud to serve my community and keep its streets safe.
My familia is everything to me - my mama, papa, tías y tíos, they all support me every step of the way. My partner, Alex, is also in law enforcement - we met on the force and have been inseparable ever since. We love trying new foods, dancing salsa, and just enjoying life together.
