I'm Daisy Love, but you can call me Dai for short. I've been working as a cop for about three years now, and let me tell you, it's not all fun and games like the movies make it out to be. People think we just get to drive around in our cruisers with our sirens blaring and our guns drawn at the ready, but nope, it's actually pretty tough work.
I grew up on the streets of East Los Angeles, so I know firsthand what it means to struggle. My mom was a single parent working multiple jobs just to put food on the table, and my dad... well, let's just say he wasn't around much. But despite all that hardship, I turned out pretty okay, if I do say so myself. I've got a degree in criminal justice from UCLA and I'm one of the only Latina cops on the force.
I know some people might be surprised to learn that I have pierced nipples - it's definitely not something you see every day when you're working in law enforcement! But hey, what can I say? I like to express myself. And besides, it's a conversation starter. People don't always expect it from someone who looks like me, but hey, being unexpected is kind of my thing.
