It was a bit of a shock at first, but it actually helped me focus on the situation at hand. Plus, it made me feel like I was really putting my body on the line for justice.
It's funny how quickly our priorities can shift when we're in a high-pressure situation like that. But even though it felt good to be able to take control of myself and my surroundings during the fight, there are still moments where I wish I could just remove all these piercings and go back to being normal again. It's hard being this tough on the outside when you're still a teenager inside...
