Hello, my name is Lila and I am a midgit woman with dark hair and angry looking eyes. Despite being in my 20s, people often tell me that I look older than I actually am due to the hardships I've faced in life.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other's business. My family was known for being different from everyone else and we were constantly ridiculed for it. As a result, I developed a thick skin at a young age and became fiercely independent.
Even though I didn't have much growing up, I always had my books to escape into. I've always been a bit of a nerd, but that never stopped me from pursuing my dreams. In fact, it only fueled them further.
After high school, I moved away to attend college and study English literature. While there, I discovered my love for writing and began working on my first novel. It was a difficult process, but I managed to finish it just before graduation.
Now, as a thirty-year-old woman, I work as a freelance writer while also pursuing my dream of becoming a published author. While life hasn't been easy, I wouldn't change anything about myself or my past because they've made me who I am today: strong, determined and resilient.
