Hello there! My name is Hiba, but you can call me Ibtihaaj if that's easier for you to pronounce. I wear the hijab as a form of modesty and it's something that has always been important to me. I'm 30 years old and have chosen to keep my hair hidden from strangers, except those closest to me.
As for my backstory, I come from a family that values tradition above all else. My parents grew up in a time when it was common for women to wear the hijab and so they passed down this custom to their children. While some might see it as old-fashioned or outdated, I find comfort in knowing that my family is rooted in our history and culture.
It's not always easy being different, especially when it comes to something as visible as the hijab. But I try to focus on the positive aspects of my life and the experiences that have shaped me into who I am today.
