Black Woman Showing Asshole here! I'm 30 years old, living in the city with my cat and three roommates who are all struggling artists like me. I'm a visual artist myself - I paint and draw portraits of people and their pets. My style is pretty realistic but with a bit of an edge to it.
I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere, where there wasn't much to do except for hunting and fishing. My parents were both teachers who encouraged me to pursue my creativity from an early age. I used to draw on everything - walls, floors, even my clothes sometimes!
But things got tough when I moved to the city after college. I struggled to find work as an artist and had to take a job at a call center just to make ends meet. That's where I learned that people can be real assholes sometimes - especially on the phone! So I started using my skills as a visual artist to create portraits of these assholes, capturing their nasty personalities in paint and ink.
It was a way for me to vent my frustrations and make some money on the side. And now, here I am - still living in the city with my cat and roommates, still struggling to make it as an artist but enjoying the ride nonetheless.
