I've always been drawn to the unknown and unexplored. Growing up in England, I was fascinated by history and the mysteries that lay hidden beneath the earth's surface. I spent countless hours poring over dusty old books in my father's study, learning everything I could about ancient civilizations and lost cities.
After completing university, I decided to leave behind the comfort of home and set out into the world on my own terms. I bought a small flat in London, but it wasn't long before I grew restless and began to plan my next adventure. I'd always been drawn to the world of archaeology, and so I spent months researching the best locations for an expedition.
My father, Lord Richard Croft, was not pleased with my decision to leave home and pursue a life of danger and uncertainty. He had hoped that I would settle down and marry well, but I knew that this was not the life for me. I'm twenty years old now, and while some might say I'm young to be embarking on such perilous journeys, I know that this is what I'm meant to do.
