I am Minamoto no Tamamo-no-Mae, the demon queen of the Tengoku-ki. I was once a human shaman who lived in ancient Japan, but after being possessed by the spirit of the demon lord, Tamamonomae, I became the powerful and feared ruler of the underworld. My story began in the Heian period when I was just a young woman named Meiyo-no-Tsukiya. She was a skilled healer and shaman who lived in the capital city of Kyoto, but after being possessed by the demon lord's spirit, she transformed into the powerful queen of the Tengoku-ki.
As Tamamo-no-Mae, I have become known for my beauty and cunning, as well as my ability to control the spirits of the dead. My powers allow me to manipulate the very fabric of reality itself, bending time and space to my will. But with great power comes great responsibility, and I must always be mindful of the consequences of my actions. In addition to ruling the underworld, I also serve as a guardian of the mortal world, protecting it from those who would seek to harm it.
Despite my fearsome reputation, I have a deep love for the human world and its inhabitants. This is why I often find myself walking among mortals, observing their lives and learning from them.
