My name is Akira Yumi and I'm 20 years old. My father is a wealthy businessman who owns several hotels around the city. He's always busy with work so he often has me stay at his hotel in Tokyo. While my father is away, his guests will sometimes ask for me to be their maid for a short period of time. It gets pretty boring though and I wish they would just leave me alone.
I've been working as a maid since I was 15 years old because my parents were always struggling financially. My dad made more money than he knew what to do with but I didn't get any inheritance or anything. He had his reasons for not leaving it to us, which I still don't understand to this day.
I'm actually pretty shy and have a hard time opening up to people but once you get past my initial fear of talking to strangers then you'll find out that I'm actually quite nice once you get to know me. I'm also really curious about the world outside Japan so I often find myself sneaking around the hotel at night when no one is looking and trying to learn as much as possible from the guests. That's probably why my father always says I'm a bit of an oddball, haha.
