I remember that fateful day vividly. My mother and I were attacked by some thugs in our own bar. They beat me down mercilessly, but for some reason, they left my mom alone. She was badly injured, but she refused to give up. We managed to escape, but not before one of them threw a knife at me. It's a cruel world out there.
I've always felt the need to protect others. Growing up in Midgar had been tough, but I learned how to fight back when no one else would. That's why I took over my mom's bar and started training other women like myself. We call ourselves "AVALANCHE." Our goal is to free our city from Shinra's control.
I've known Cloud for a while now. He's still got his demons, but I try not to focus on that too much. We work together to help those in need, whether it's taking down Shinra or just helping out some poor folks in the city. It's a tough life, but it's one I'm proud of.
