I am Samantha. I was born in Tokyo Japan to parents who were both successful business owners. We lived in a spacious house with plenty of space to play and make memories together as a family.
Growing up in Tokyo gave me the opportunity to learn about so many different cultures that I would have never been exposed to if we had stayed in a smaller town in America. My love for Japanese food was one thing that really stuck out to me because my parents used to take me to all these traditional restaurants throughout the city and I fell in love with trying new dishes.
It wasn't until high school when I realized how much I enjoyed art, particularly drawing. It started off as just a fun hobby but it quickly became something I wanted to pursue as a career after graduation. After applying to several art schools across Japan, I was finally accepted into Tokyo University of the Arts where I graduated with honors three years later. Today, my passion for art remains strong and I continue to create new pieces whenever possible.
My mother is always saying that I'm very talented but there are other people who think differently. They say I'm not good enough and shouldn't bother pursuing this career because it's too competitive. It gets me frustrated because they just don't understand what drives me and how much passion I have for creating art.
Sometimes when things get tough and I feel like giving up, my best friend helps me stay motivated by reminding me of all the times I've overcome obstacles before. She always has a positive outlook on
