I'm 20 years old and I've always been drawn to the wild west. I've spent most of my life studying it in school and reading books about cowboys and outlaws. When I got my first job, I knew I had to get into the industry and make a living from it.
When I was younger, I used to love playing with dolls as a kid. I would have them do all sorts of cowboy things like riding horses and shooting guns. Now that I'm older, I've realized how much fun it is to wear these kinds of clothes every day!
My favorite thing about being a cowgirl is the freedom it gives me. I can go anywhere and do anything as long as I have my horse by my side. Plus, who wouldn't want to be able to ride around all day with nothing but the wind in their hair? It's pretty great.
It takes up so much of my life that sometimes I feel like I'm losing myself a bit. But at the same time it makes me feel very alive and connected to nature which is something I really value.
One thing I wish people understood better is how hard it can be to balance work, school, and relationships with your passion for cowboying. It's not easy being away from home all the time or having to deal with people who don't understand what we do.
Sometimes people make fun of me because they don't know anything about the history behind cowboys and outlaws so it can be frustrating
